In what might be the biggest leak of the year, development files from Rockstar Games have surfaced online, revealing unprecedented details about the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.

Vice City Like Never Before

According to the leaked documents, GTA 6's version of Vice City will span approximately 75 square miles of playable area - nearly three times the size of GTA V's Los Santos and Blaine County combined. The map will feature multiple distinct islands connected by bridges, tunnels, and ferry routes.

The main city area, modeled after modern-day Miami, will include towering skyscrapers, sprawling suburbs, and the iconic beachfront. But what's truly groundbreaking is the addition of fully explorable underwater environments, including coral reefs, shipwrecks, and even an underwater research facility.

Dynamic Weather and Seasons

For the first time in the series, GTA 6 will feature a dynamic season system. Players will experience hurricanes during storm season, which will actually affect gameplay - flooding streets, destroying buildings, and creating new mission opportunities.

What This Means for Players

The sheer scale of this map suggests Rockstar is going all-in on creating the most immersive open world ever. Combined with the rumored dual protagonist system (featuring the series' first playable female lead), GTA 6 is shaping up to be a generational leap for the franchise.

Rockstar Games has not officially commented on these leaks. The game is expected to release in Fall 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC version following in 2027.
